Passionate Music Artist

Born and raised in Monroe, Michigan, Lique always knew that he wanted to make a career out of music, but didn’t know if it’s possibility until his move to California in 2016. From childhood piano lessons to high school and college marching bands to dorm room rap to DJing parties and clubs, one could say music is a huge part of Lique’s life.

Together with Mandela he started DreamTeam Collective and released their debut tape at the top of the new decade, 2020 Vision; a collection of some of the dopest artists in Southern California, all recorded, mixed and mastered at DreamTeam Home Studios.
In May 2020, Lique released his first EP, Phuck, that told the story of the ending of a toxic relationship. He then followed with YU, an EP with his take on country music that describes the turning point in getting over the relationship. Then to finish up 2020, he released TWO, the final piece to the story that tells of a relapse into the relationship and how he deals with it. The next spring, he combined the three into an album which included 3 remixes and 2 EDM remixes of tracks on the album.

In 2021, Lique focused mainly on getting his new label, Trap Church Productions, off the ground. In collaboration with artists Reverend C and Au$, their first album, Excommunicated, released in June 2021. Then he continued to executive produce a solo EP for each of them ahead of their second collaborative album, "The Last Supper".
